1.Blue racer Snake

Blue racer is one of the beautiful snakes also known as Coluber constrictor foxii is a nonvenomous snake that is mostly seen in the open and semi-open habitats, savanna, old field shoreline, and edge habitats. The snake species was last seen in Ontario in 1983 on Pelee Island Ontario, the blue racer is restricted to the eastern two-thirds of the island. Talking about the appearance, it has ventral scales that are visible in dull grey to brilliant blue lateral and even pale brown to dark grey dorsum. Also, they have a black mask along with relatively large eyes along brownish-orange rostral scales (snouts).

Green tree python belongs to the family Pythonidae and native to New Guinea and some islands of Indonesia, and the Cape York Peninsula in Australia. One of the beautiful snake species was first described by Hermann Schlegel in 1872, it was known for many years as Chondropython Viridis. It can grow upto 2 m (6.6 ft) and a weight of 1.6 kg (3.5 lb) where females are larger and even heavier than male species. Green tree python prefers living in trees and loves to feed on small reptiles and mammals. It is also one of the popular pets and because of this suffered from large-scale smuggling of wild-caught green tree pythons in Indonesia.

3.Brazilian Rainbow Boa

Brazilian Rainbow Boa saw in the regions of the Amazon basin of Brazil, French Guiana, Southern Venezuela, French Guiana, coastal Guyana and Suriname. It can grow upto a length of 5-7 feet long and can be seen in various colors such as deep red and bright orange. It comes under medium-sized snakes that can grow upto 4 to 6 feet in length and weighs approximately 2 or 3 lbs. Talking about the appearance, It has beautiful iridescent skin and hence it is listed as one of the beautiful snakes in the world. The avarage lifespan of snake species is up to 30 years. The gestation period of the species last about 10 months.

4.Eastern Coral Snake

The eastern coral snake is mostly seen in the regions of sandy and marshy areas of southeastern United States. It is one of the closest relatives of the cobra, mamba, and sea snake. It can grow upto 2 feet (0.6 meters) in total length and it loves to spend its lives inside the underground hole or leaf piles. The species known for its bright coloured patterned bodies fixed fangs that makes it one of the beautiful snakes in the world. The species generally feed on frogs, lizards, smaller snakes and even sometimes other coral snakes. The baby snake emerges as 7 inches long from the egg.

5.The Iridescent Shieldtail

The Iridescent Shieldtail is also known as a two-lined black Shieldtail mostly seen in the Western Ghats of southern India. The species was first described by Richard Henry Beddome and presented at the summit of the Periya peak in Wayanad. It is listed as one of the most colourful snakes in the world and can be seen in the mountains of India. There is less information about the species available in the wild and scientifically known as Melanophidium bilineatum.

6.Amelanistic Burmese Python

Amelanistic Burmese Python mostly seen near the trees and waters. The snake species belongs to the family Pythonidae and genus Python. This is the largest species of the Indian Python and one of the six largest snakes in the world. It is mostly seen in the regions of Nepal, Western Bhutan, Southeast Bangladesh, Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, northern continental Malaysia, Southern China and in Indonesia on Java, Southern Sulawesi, Bali, and Sumbawa. The nocturnal rainforest dwellers and are known to be excellent swimmers. Burmese pythons spend the majority of their time hidden in the underbrush.

Texas rat snake is mostly seen in the regions of the United States, primarily within the state of Texas; however, they can also be seen in the regions of Louisiana, Arkansas and Oklahoma. It belongs to the subspecies of rat snakes and was first described by the German-American naturalist Ferdinand Jacob Lindheimer, who collected the first specimen in New Braunfels, Texas. Talking about the appearance, they are typically yellow or tan, with brown to olive-green, irregular blotching from head to tail. Emerald tree boa knew as Corallus caninus mostly seen in the regions of the rainforests of South America. The non-venomous snake loves to thrive in the areas and wetlands of the tropical rainforest. It can grow upto 2 meters in length and considered as one of the beautiful snakes in the world. It can grow upto 6 feet (1.8 m) in length and has highly developed front teeth compared to another non-venomous snake. Eastern indigo snake scientifically known as Drymarchon couperi is a non-venomous snake that belongs to the family Colubridae. The snake species is native to the eastern United States and also listed as the longest native snake species in the U.S. Talking about the appearance, they have a shiny bluish-black coloured snake and hence listed as one of the most beautiful snakes in the world. The mature male species can grow upto 1.2–2.36 m and weighs approximately 0.72–4.5 kg. The species was first described by John Edwards Holbrook in 1842. The eastern indigo snake has a number of common names including indigo, blue indigo snake, black snake, blue gopher snake, and blue bull snake.

10.Honduran milk snake

Honduran milk snake scientifically known as the Lampropeltis triangulum hondurensis is a nonvenomous snake reaching a length of 5 feet. One of the beautiful snakes known for its distinct rings or bands of black and yellow. The species is endemic to North and South America. As of now, 24 known subspecies of Milk Snake are known and they are most visible in the sub-tropical rainforest and grassland. The base colour of the species is red along with distinct rings or bands of black and yellow. The avarage lifespan of the snake species is 15 years while in captivity.
