1.Cheetah

The cheetah is the fastest land animal known for its beautiful animal patterns across the body. The animal species can grow upto 4 feet in length and reaches 2 to 3 feet in height at the shoulder and also considered as one of the biggest cats in the world. The wieght is approximately 75 to 145 pounds and the tail is usually 30 inches long. Cheetah is diurnal which means they are active during the day because most of the animals in Africa hunt during the night when the temperature drops down. It mostly preys on warthogs, rabbits, francolins, gazelles, antelopes, impalas, porcupines, springhares and even ostriches. It used to drink less water every 3 to 4 days because it absorbs part of the water from the food. The tail plays an important role while flying because it balances the animal and allows fast and sudden turns when it is on the hunt in the wildlife. Carolina Dog belived to have originated in the American South and it is descended from Asian “pariah dogs” brought to North America across the Bering Strait dating back to 9,000 years ago. It can grow upto a hieght of hieght of 17 to 24 inches and weigh approximately 30 to 44 pounds. Talking about the appearance, they have a muscular body covered in short coats and body skin is tan, black and tan, and off-white in colour. The ears are pointed along with wedge-shaped heads and almond-shaped eyes. The varage lifespan of the species is 15 years with relatively few genetic health issues.

One of the amazing animals that start with c, Caiman is very closely related to alligators and crocodiles. As of now, six species of caiman are known and they are mostly seen in the region of Central and South America mostly in Puerto Rico, Cuba, Brazil, Ecuador, Peru, Columbia and French Guyana. It can grow upto 5 to 20 feet in length and wieght approximately 220 to 1100 pounds, however, that depends on the species. Both male and female species look alike where the body is covered with hard scales that act as armour. The body comes in different colors such as olive green, grey, brown or black in colour. They have an excellent sense of hearing and eyesight. The animal species is a carnivore that feeds on fish, crustaceans, small reptiles and birds. The young caimans eat insects and their avarage lifespan is 30 to 40 years in the wild and up to 60 years in captivity.

4.Caiman Lizard

Caiman Lizard is a reptile that belongs to the teiid family. It is mostly seen in the regions like Brazil, Ecuador, Peru, Columbia and Guyana. The species love to thrive in dry areas, caiman lizard inhabits forested swamps, rainforests and flooded woodlands. It can grow upto 2 to 4 feet in length and 3 to 6 pounds of weight. Talking bout the appearance, it has an orange-red head and green body along with a red colour head is more common in these reptiles. Caiman Lizard spends most of the life in water and another half in the trees. The third eyelid helps them to see clearly see inside the water and the avarage lifespan is more than 10 years in the wild and 8 to 12 years in captivity.

Camel is a desert animal that can easily move across the sand because of specially designed feet. There are two types of camel, t the first one is Dromedary that has one hump and the other one is Bactrian which has two humps. One of the most useful animals to mankind can reach upto 7 feet in height and weigh up to 1500 pounds. They are popular for their humps ad people believe that they store water in humps but the fact is that they actually store fat that uses as a source of energy when other food sources are not available. The camel’s milk is very rich in iron, vitamins and minerals and even rated good compared to cow’s milk because it contains less fat. It can run at a speed of 40 miles per hour and has an average lifespan of 40-50 years in its environment.

6.Cairn Terrier

Cairn Terrier names come from the word cairn which means a stack of stones that is either formed naturally or by human hands and it is also used as road markers and memorials. Cairn Terrier is small dog breeds that weigh approximately 13 or 14 pounds. They have been developed on the Isle of Skye in Scotland and farmers used them to get rid of their property of vermin, and they needed a dog with courage, tenacity, and intelligence. Captain Martin MacLeod has been credited with developing the oldest strains of the breed. dating back to 200 years ago. Both male and female has different shapes and wieght where males stand 10 inches tall and weigh 14 pounds, howvever, females stand 9.5 inches tall and weigh 13 pounds.

A camel spider is a spider that belongs to the group of arachnids. As of now, more than 1.000 species of camel spider are known to humans and they can be seen across the world except in Antarctica and Australia. One of the types of spiders used to prefer warm, arid, sandy areas and deserts for thriving and very well adapted to the life in scrublands, grasslands and forests. It can grow upto 5 to 6 inches in length and weigh ppromxitaley 2 ounces. Talking about the appearance, the spider species comes with a tan, brown or reddish-brown, hairy body along with elongated jaws known as chelicerae with 4 pair of long legs and one pair of leg-like sensory organs known as pedipalps and hence listed as one of the biggest spiders in the world. 8.Canadian Eskimo Dog

Canadian Eskimo Dog is a medium-sized dog breed that dates back to 4,000 years ago to the Inuit or Eskimo people. It is also known as the Canadian Inuit dog that can weigh approximately 66 and 95 pounds. Talking about the appearance, the head is wedge-shaped with small and pricked ears. The Asian breed avarage lifespan is approximately 10–15 yr. It can grow upto 20–28 inches in hieght known for its long and thick fur along with a dense undercoat to protect from extreme winter conditions. It comes in many colors such as white, red, buff, cinnamon, grey, black, and sable. They have a wolf-like appearance and males have longer hair around their neck.

Capybara looks similar to beavers and is categorized as large rodents that are mostly seen in Central and South America near lakes, ponds and rivers. It is herbivores and mostly feeds on grass and eat aquatic plants most of the night. It can grow upto 4 feet in length and weigh around 140 pounds. They are also seen eating their own faeces that helps them in the digestion of food. The natural predators are Jaguars, anacondas, caimans and harpy eagles. It is a social animal that is seen in 10-30 members and in the dry season group can have more than 100 members. The avarage lifespan of the species is 8-10 years in the wild and up to 12 years in captivity.

Caracal is a medium-sized cat species closely related to lynx and seen in Africa, southwestern parts of Asia and the Middle East. It thrives in regions of woodlands, scrublands, savannas, evergreen and mountain forests. The wild cat species can grow upto 35 to 39 inches in length and weigh approximately 35 to 40 pounds where are slightly higher than females. Talking about the appearance, they have short fur that comes in tan, brown or black in colour. The ear end with tufts of black hair and this is the same morphological feature that is characteristic of lynx. The avarage lifespan of the species is 12 years in the wild and up to 17 years in captivity.
